N747M is currently registered to the Willa K Bogue Trust.
38 B-23s were built, 12 were converted to transports as UC-67s.

Roger Cain sent this info: The Douglas B-23 was a regular staple of our
air shows here on the west coast until a few years ago, haven't seen it in a
while as I believe the owner passed away. The plane is: N747M USAAF 39-033.
It was owned by Howard Hughes in the 1950's. In 1985 it was bought
by Mike Bogue of Oakland CA and he was the owner when you took the picture.
